Hitler and Nazi Germany - Book List

The literature on Hitler and the Nazis is vast! Every facet of the movement and the regime, from the design of uniforms, badges and flags to the reasons for and the implications of the Holocaust, has been written about in exhaustive detail and the flow of books and articles on this subject seems to increase with the passage of time.

In putting together a book list which is at the same time useful but not overwhelmingly long I have confined myself to books which I have read and found insightful. This list is not intended to be comprehensive and I have probably omitted books which you might feel are essential, but I have tried to include books which are in print and/or fairly easy to obtain from bookshops and libraries.
